It felt magical to wake up with elephants just outside my bungalow. The room was basic with no air conditioning, yet cozy and charming with a fan sufficient to keep it cool. Dining by the river added a peaceful touch to every meal. breakfast had great options but could use a bit more variety. Staff were super helpful in arranging activities, especially the elephant excursion, which was unforgettable. Feeding and walking with the elephants made for a perfect day. However, the restaurant service was slow, which could be frustrating at times. The bathrooms could use a little updating to avoid any unpleasant smells.

Waking up to see elephants right outside the deluxe bungalow brought an unforgettable vibe to the stay. The layout of the bungalows alongside the river offers a cozy interaction with nature that is hard to find elsewhere.
The rooms feel quite basic and dated—not the cleanest either, with gaps around windows and doors presenting a chance for unwanted guests like spiders and lizards. Breakfast options were quite limited, with hot food left out to go cold, giving it an overall lackluster start to the day. The elephant experience left a troubling taste, with chained elephants prompting mixed emotions about ethical treatment and future breeding practices.
